WHY DID YOU DECIDE TO JOIN US ON A RETREAT? WHAT EXCITED YOU MOST ABOUT THE RETREAT?
I had been following @PangeaDreams since the very beginning and the FOMO just kept on coming with every retreat that passed. I was feeling a little lost literally all over the place with my brand, so after reading some of the alumni testimonials, I decided to take the leap and join a retreat. I was super excited to connect with other like-minded women, and these ladies did not disappoint!

HOW DID YOUR LIFE CHANGE AFTER THE RETREAT?
I definitely have a tighter grasp on the direction I want to go in with my content, and I’ve since changed my IG handle to more closely identify with those ideals (come find me at @dandelionpassport)! I also gained 17 new friends from all of the world who all feel like home to me. Each and every one of the ladies I met on this retreat is smart, beautiful, unique, and amazing in her own way. Their support and encouragement during & after the retreat has been through the roof, and has given me the confidence to really chase something that I didn’t think could ever be a reality for me.
WHAT WAS A HIGHLIGHT FROM YOUR TRIP?
So many things come to mind, but the self-love workshop that Deddeh lead really set the tone for the entire retreat for me. Deddeh just has a way of opening up your heart and walking right in, whether you want to let her in or not (lol). This workshop made me realize that there were 17 other women sitting right in front of me, who all share the same challenges, fears, and vulnerabilities as I do, and that we are in this together. I have a ridiculously awkward personality, but I was able to open up, be myself, and actually feel good about it throughout the entire retreat.
DID PANGEA DREAMS SET YOU UP FOR SUCCESS? WHAT SKILLS DID YOU TAKE AWAY FROM THE RETREAT?
Let me just say this: I’ll never use the cloud-based version of Lightroom again (forever LR Classic CC now). Thank you Sam, you angel ☺ Lauren’s workshop on SEO & using Pinterest to drive traffic to your blog was completely mind blowing. My blog isn’t finished yet, but I know once I launch it, I’ll be waist deep in all the skills I learned from her!
WHICH WORKSHOP WAS YOUR FAVOURITE AND WHY?
I really loved Photography 101 & Lightroom. I had already been shooting in manual, but was using presets that required me to shoot severely underexposed. Sam taught us how to use light to our advantage and shoot with the proper settings, and thanks to her, I have not used a preset on any of my photos since!
IS THERE ANYTHING YOU WANT TO SAY TO GIRLS CONSIDERING JOINING A RETREAT?
If you are serious about taking your IG content to the next level, and are even remotely considering joining a Pangea Dreams retreat, stop thinking and submit your application. There are so may blogger retreats out there that offer a similar package, many of which are double the cost, but I promise you they will not deliver like Pangea Dreams does. I can tell you from experience, this retreat is absolutely life-changing and I wouldn’t change my decision to join this incredible family of women for anything.
