It’s impossible to know everything going on in the world, but it will help you immensely socially and professionally to know the most important events of the day.

Set a world news site as your homepage, follow reputable news sources on social media, and have the news playing in the background while you get ready in the morning.

Find websites, magazines, or podcasts that report on the news about your industry and dedicate even a few minutes each day to becoming more informed.

Clean as you go

One simple task you can start today is to make a habit of cleaning as you go.

Having a clean workspace is a must for a productive day, and a clean home can even play a role in the quality of sleep that you get.

Contentment is the ability to be happy and fulfilled in one’s present state.

According to the American Psychological Association (APA), 72 percent of Americans are stressed about money.

Whether it’s for a vacation, a new car, to pay off student debt or to start saving for a down payment on a home, 2019 if the year we get our finances in check.

You’ll be surprised to see how much easier it is to save when you give yourself a specific savings goal.

Give yourself a deadline and write it down, everything feels a little more serious when you put it on paper.

I will…invest in myself

Pop in your headphones and listen to a podcast during your morning commute or while at the gym.

Download an app to learn a new language or sign up for an online class.

Whether it’s investing in learning a new skill, developing yourself personally or professionally, or coming together with women from around the world to realize your full potential in a beautiful destination.
